Xela

Quetzaltenango, or Xela as it is locally called, is Guatemala's second largest city offering loads of inexpensive Spanish courses. That's what we were here for spending a few weeks studying Spanish and exploring. One place definately worth checking out in the area is Fuentas Georginas, a hot spring located close to Xela but still an effort to get there.
